Our CEO, Mr Garry Mehta, set up what was then called Design International, with just one merchandiser, one QC and determination to be a part of a global industry.

Our offices move to Vietnam, sparking our biggest change yet and spurring more growth. We have since consistently grown our base, portfolio and strengths yearly. It was in Vietnam that we became GOLDMARK LTD, with a mission and vision to be even more global than we already are.

Our Ethiopia branch is set up. Ethiopia provides our clients with duty-free to North America & Europe, and allows us to give competitively priced manufacturing quotes. We also aim to source local raw materials and to play our role in stimulating the Ethiopian economy.

Our Bangladesh office is set up, providing our clients with duty-free to Europe, and competitively priced manufacturing for North America. Our offices work exclusively with factories that are WRAP certified, BSCI certified and Walmart Approved.

Our offices in Madagascar are established. Our manufacturing presence in Madagascar generates exceptional cost-competitiveness for our clients, and we are able to offer duty-free to both our North American & European clients. Some of our facilities are vertically integrated, allowing us a sharper lead time from a manufacturing location known for its remarkable workmanship. Our Madagascar teams consist of highly skilled merchandisers and QAs, and our strong partnership with our multiple facilities secures competitively priced quotes for various product categories ranging from knits to wovens.
